Responsibilities:
- Execute projects and assignments in coordination with project managers and support staff. Example projects include dam removals, river restoration, dam rehabilitation, flood control, stormwater management planning and design
- Prepare detailed written memoranda and reports on technical assignments and present technical information to peers and clients
- Prepare design documents including drawings, technical specifications, basis of design documents, bid documents and project schedules
- Perform construction oversight/field observation
- Travel to project sites and other offices as required, including overnight travel
- 3-8 years of professional experience demonstrating skills mentioned above
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or Water Resources related field, M.S. considered a plus
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work well in a team atmosphere and on individual assignments
- Ability to travel on temporary work assignments and possess a valid driver's license
- Experience with H/H modeling, stormwater BMP and river restoration planning, design and monitoring. Construction oversight/field engineering experience with a focus on stormwater management and soil erosion controls is desired
- Salary: $70K/yr - $110K/yr negotiable
