Hire Up Staffing is looking for a temporary Warehouse Agent for our client in Laredo, TX! This is an excellent opportunity to get working quickly!

Shift / Hours : 6pm-2am (must be flexible on days)

Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour

Job Summary :

As a Warehouse Agent, you'll be essential in loading and unloading materials using hand trucks, reach trucks, and forklifts.

Your keen eye for detail will help maintain a clean and safe work environment, and you'll ensure all received loads match the manifest.

Steel-toed boots / safety shoes are required.

What You'll Do :

• Pull routes and stage freight using manifests
• Assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks
• Handle materials : picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products
• Ensure timely and accurate packaging and system work
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
• Safely operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to TSA and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For :

• Proficiency with forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding / shrink wrap material
• Experience using RF scan guns
• Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekends
• Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted

Experience Required :

• 1 years in a warehouse environment
• Verifiable 1 years operating a reach truck and sit-down counterbalance forklift

Physical Requirements :

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Regularly lifting / moving up to 50 pounds
• Regular use of phone, PC, and reading / writing shipping documents
