- Leading projects focused on ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and other frameworks.
- Evaluating clients' internal control environments and managing engagement planning and execution.
- Overseeing IT Audit control testing and advisory projects.
- Acting as the lead for specific service line engagements.
- Performing final quality assurance reviews of deliverables before client submission.
- Coordinating consulting engagements with leaders of other service lines.
- Providing thought leadership through authoring whitepapers, delivering speaking engagements, and hosting webinars.
- Contributing to the enhancement of firm methodologies and processes.
- Ensuring an exceptional client experience.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related field.
- An advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in maintaining and executing control environments or providing consulting services for the implementation and assessment of control environments.
- In-depth knowledge of IT security frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOC 1/2).
- Proven experience in managing audit engagements.
- Extensive experience in ISO implementation and best practices.
- Previous experience with mid-market firms or “Big 4” firms is desirable.
- Certifications:
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor designation is preferred.
- Additional certifications such as CPA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CCSK are advantageous.
