Responsibilities
- Project Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of multifamily construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Schedule Management: Collaborate with project teams to create, update, and maintain project schedules.
- Safety and Quality: Contribute to project safety and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) efforts.
- Field Support: Assist the superintendent in field activities, including layout verification, punch-list preparation, and plan reviews.
- Subcontractor Meetings: Organize and schedule subcontractor orientations and meetings.
- Documentation: Contribute to the preparation of scopes of work, bid packages, and submittals.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in multifamily construction, with a focus on wood frame construction.
- Education: Degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Certification: PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
- Cost Management: Experience in managing budgets for construction projects.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with construction and project management software programs (e.g., Procore, Prolog, P6/Primavera, Microsoft Project).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, manage a team, and meet deadlines.
