Who you are

StorSuite is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to oversee and manage StorSuite’s financial operations and build financial infrastructure. A successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, cash and treasury management, compensation/ payroll, and generating actionable reports for various business lines, departments, and products. This role requires a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as the ability to create and maintain documented processes and workflows for all financial operations.

What you will be doing

  • Financial Reporting: Oversee preparation and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cash and Treasury Management: Oversee the company's cash flow, investments, and banking relationships to optimize financial performance and minimize risk.
  • Compensation Management: Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with company goals and attract and retain top talent.
  • Actionable Reporting: Generate insightful reports for business lines, departments, and products to support data-driven decision-making and drive profitability.
  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain well-documented processes and workflows for all financial operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Funding Workflows: Manage funding workflows for acquisitions, ensuring smooth and timely execution of transactions.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and optimize costs.

What you will need to do it

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum requirement)
  • 15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience working in a larger corporate finance department
  • Proficiency with sophisticated accounting software (e.g., Sage, Netsuite)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • CPA or MBA highly desirable
