At-a-Glance :
Are you ready to build your career by joining a Healthcare Provider? If so, our client is hiring a Patient Service Representative (Day).
What You'll Do :
- Greet and check-in all treatment patients and simulations on daily schedule.
- Manage and handle all patient phone calls and inquiries, and route appropriate phone calls to nursing / physicians / etc via Epic telephone encounter.
- Checks front office and nurse office voicemails throughout the day.
- Coordinate all patient appointments new patient visits, follow ups, inspection visits, OTVs.
- Reschedule patient appointments if needed (example : physician vacation time, providing coverage to other Rad Onc locations).
- Conducts record retrieval for both new patients and return patients who complete scans outside of Medicine.
- Performs operational scanning.
- Check faxes throughout the day.
- Places food orders for weekly chart rounds lunches and monthly staff meetings.
- Picks up mail every morning and handles all deliveries going into and sent by the practice.
- Sends End of Treatment Letters.
