3rd Shift (11PM to 7AM)
Will be supervising 4-5 maintenance Mechanics/Techs
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance departments and workers
* Oversee the disassembly of machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs
* Review the repair of broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
* Maintain the operating condition of industrial production & processing machinery & equipment
* Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear
* Review the reassembly of equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
* Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices
* Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs
* Review & update as needed the pm system to lubricate & adjust parts, equipment & machinery
* Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
* Record repairs and maintenance performed in the computerized system
* Confer with management/subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances
* Perform safety inspections & pre-operational inspections in manufacturing or industrial setting
* Job pace is determined by the speed of equipment or machinery
* Responsible for participating in all activities set out by the company in support of the Food Safety Modernization Act.
* Requires face-to-face discussions with individuals or teams; including conflict situations
* Ensure that PMs are completed on a timely basis
* Maintain a clean & safe work area as well as maintain all Food Plant GMPs at all times
* Everyone has responsibility to support and follow our Food Safety and Food Defense programs.
* Any other associated tasks as seen necessary by supervisory personnel.
Physical Requirements:
* Bend and lift loads not to exceed 50 pounds unassisted or 100 pounds with assistance
* Stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 4 hours without a break
* Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders
Work Environment:
* Work in very hot temperatures (90 degrees F) seasonally
* Ability to work in a noisy environment with the possibility of being exposed to flour, gluten, eggs, and wheat via inhalant or food handling
* Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays
* Must be able to work on a variety of floor surfaces including tile and concrete
Intellectual Requirements:
* Reading, writing and mathematics
* Excellent Speaking/Communications with Leadership and Line Workers
* Leadership characteristics including training and presentation skills
* Must be computer literate and able to send e-mails and complete Excel spreadsheet reports.
* Demonstrated proficiency in the proper use of equipment

Pay: $62,959.02 - $90,821.62 per year
