We are looking for an experienced and compassionate board-certified, Fellowship Trained, Mohs Surgeon to join our client’s esteemed healthcare team in South Carolina. As a full time Mohs Surgeon, your role will be crucial in ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Mohs micrographic surgery 4 days per week, managing 10-20 cases per day
• Analyze and interpret histopathology slides to ensure the complete removal of cancerous tissue during surgery.
• Collaborate closely with dermatopathologists for complex cases and quality review
• Deliver postoperative care, including follow-up appointments to monitor patient recovery and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on skin cancer prevention, treatment choices, and detailed postoperative care instructions.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans for complex or advanced cases.
• Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers and support staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Dermatology and Mohs Surgery Completion of an accredited fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery.
• Valid medical license and DEA registration.
• Demonstrated expertise in Mohs micrographic surgery and associated surgical techniques.
• Commitment to outstanding cosmetic outcomes. Our current Mohs surgeons routinely review outcomes and give/receive feedback to one another to facilitate continuous improvement in both reconstructive design and technique.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong patient care orientation.
• Ability to lead and thrive in a collaborative, team-based healthcare environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field.
