Summary
The Printing Specialist I supports the day-to-day operation of the corporate print shop team with both daily recurring tasks and ad hoc projects assigned as needed. With minimal oversight, the Printing Specialist I is expected to work with high levels of accountability and a sound level of autonomy.
Work Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM MST
Roles & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Printing Specialist I is to use their expertise to prep and configure projects to the required formats to enable effective printing and management of various jobs at the machine level in order to support the on-going workflow of the print shop. Post printing, the Printing Specialist I supports the business with their higher-level skillset and familiarity with assembly processes to include but not limited to lamination, hole punching, and binding.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience Level: 3 Years - Pervious in house printing role, Alpha Graphics, Kinkos, Staples, Office Depot/Office Max.
- Minimum three years' experience operating printing machines and related equipment
- Must be familiar with operating printing machines and advanced copiers. EM prefers Ricoh/Fiery
- Must possess superior customer service skills.
- Working Knowledge of Lamination, Hole Punch, Binding Process'
- Ability to interface with customers, co-workers, supervisors.
- Ability to multi-task and function in a fast paced, high demand environment.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Outlook required.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Strong understanding of PDF, Adobe Illustrator, PowerPoint, Publisher files preferred.
- Working Knowledge of file manipulation, Tab Creation, Book, and Binder creation
- Working Knowledge of Fiery Compose, Impose, Job Master
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Self-motivated, adaptable with strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable, team player a must
