Location: Hartford, CT 06105
Shift Details:
- Hours: 12-hour shifts, three days per week
- Schedule: 19:00 to 07:30
- Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Local Pay Rate (within 60 miles): $50.45/hr.
- Non-Local Pay Rate: $57.66/hr.
- Taxable Wage: $45.82/hr.
- Per Diem: $11.83/hr.
- Reward: $5.77/hr.
- Provide urgent and critical care to patients in the emergency room setting.
- Perform rapid assessments, initiate treatment plans, and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and assist with emergent situations as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations.
- Maintain competence through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Connecticut.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Prior experience in emergency room or critical care nursing preferred.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move patients, and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
