HireQuest is Hiring an EVENT SETUP/STRIKE STAFF | $14 | NEXT DAY PAY | ASAP HIRE | Near Birmingham, AL

Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Event Staff. As an Event Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events and providing exceptional customer service to all attendees. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for public speaking, events management, and guest services.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including arranging furniture, setting up equipment, and decorating venues
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with event information
- Manage crowd control and ensure the safety of all attendees
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist with ticket sales and registration processes
- Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate event logistics
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces throughout the duration of the event
- Assist with any other tasks as assigned by the Event Manager

Skills:
- Excellent public speaking skills to make announcements and engage with event attendees
- Lifeguard certification is a plus, as some events may involve water activities
- Theater background or experience in performing arts is beneficial for entertainment-focused events
- Strong events management skills to assist with organizing and coordinating various aspects of events
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for all guests
- Cash handling experience to accurately process payments and provide change if necessary
- Hospitality skills to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout the event
- Conflict management skills to handle any disputes or conflicts that may arise during events
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other staff members
- Experience working with children is advantageous for family-friendly events
