Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Litigation Associate Attorney role for someone licensed and residing in Arizona. The role involves the day-to-day tasks associated with civil litigation defense, including drafting, preparing and filing motions, conducting legal research, participating in depositions, and representing clients in court. While the role is primarily based in Albuquerque, NM, some remote work flexibility is available.
QualificationsStrong understanding of Law, including civil litigation defense
Experience in drafting, preparing, and filing Motions
Proficiency in conducting legal Research
Experience in participating in Depositions
Familiarity with Courts and legal procedures
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Admission to the State Bar of Arizona
Residing in Arizona
Prior experience in construction defect and casualty claims defense is a plus
Mandatory SkillsDefense Litigators with 3-5 years’ experience.
Handled Construction Defect cases (Developer only) or recent work with General Liability matters
