Job Title: Contract Operations Analyst

  • The Contract Operations Analyst is responsible for contract management of various Winthrop generic agreements in the Model N Flex system.
  • Responsibilities include accurately interpreting, loading and pricing commercial contracts for the generics market segment housed in Model N Flex, based upon proper evaluation and interpretation of pricing sheets and amendments.
  • Ensure the timely payment of contractual fee and rebate obligations of our Winthrop generics customers.
  • Utilize rebate processing and validation systems, and complete detailed calculations and analysis of rebate payments.
Job Activities:
  • The candidate will have a fundamental understanding of contract strategies, markets, and ******** companies' products.
  • The individual will have ongoing interaction within Strategic Pricing and Contracting (SPC) (especially Strategy) as well as Account Management, Field Sales Team, Trade, Legal and ITS.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Accurately enter and maintain contracts for Winthrop Generics into Model N Flex to ensure accurate data availability for flexible and meaningful management reporting and rebate adjudication.
  • Possess knowledge of commercial, government, or generics segments to accurately interpret contracts for our Winthrop business.
  • Possess the ability to test and understand the functionality of Model N and to understand the interrelationships between the various functional modules.
  • Ensure timely execution of all components of contract administration in a team oriented approach within Contract Administration and to provide clear and open communication to team members. It is critical that pricing is loaded quickly.
  • Responsible for the proper evaluation and interpretation of generic contracts to ensure fee and rebate payments are made accurately and timely as per the terms and conditions of the contracts
  • Responsible for the detailed analysis and validation of rebate claim data and the calculation of rebate payments utilizing Model-N Flex systems and PC based applications.
  • Responsible for maintaining an effective customer focus: communicating with and providing rebate claim supporting documentation to external and internal customers.
  • Responsible for the analysis and resolution of disputed rebate claim data
  • Maintain systems and logs to track status of contracts and rebate processing for review by Rebate managers. Familiarity with PATH / Appian workflow application suite is a plus.
  • Participate and/or contribute to special projects as needed. The position is not simply limited to payment processing.
  • Responsible for adhering to all company and departmental policies and procedure including ethical practices.

  • Participate in customer meetings and audits as required.
  • Interact with Account Managers, Trade, Accounts Payable and Brand Team as necessary.
  • Support departmental projects as required.
  • Comply with all SOX requirements.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Level Of Job-Related Education
  • B.A./B.S. (or significant progress toward a degree) required, with degrees in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred.
Minimum Amount of Job-Related Experience:
  • 3+ years work experience of a contract administration, analytical or financial/accounting nature. Knowledge of Generics contracting preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required to ensure ability to interact with all levels of internal and External Customers
  • Ability to understand and communicate contracting strategies of high complexity
  • Solid Excel skills required
  • FLEX Contract maintenance experience preferred
  • Basic accounting knowledge a plus
