Title: Payroll Analyst

Position Type: 6 months contract.

Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN. 1 day a week in the office.

Job Description:

As a pivotal member of our team, you will spearhead the planning, execution, and optimization of cutting-edge Workday Payroll technology solutions within a dynamic work environment. Your role involves providing strategic guidance to both internal and external stakeholders in line with our Workday Payroll technology objectives. Additionally, you will craft and implement technology strategies tailored to support HR and business goals, collaborating closely with business leaders to identify and address their specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategically prioritize and plan technology projects across relevant workstreams, ensuring seamless alignment with HR Technology objectives and partner expectations. You'll be instrumental in supporting multiple pay group payroll cycles while independently managing Payroll technologies for designated workstreams.

Engage with business and HR unit leaders, as well as subject matter experts, to discern project requirements and objectives. By presenting comprehensive system-level solutions, you'll bridge gaps and offer valuable insights that enhance business processes.

Maintain a forward-looking roadmap for assigned technologies and workstreams, overseeing the release process for feature enhancements and staying updated on technological advancements and industry trends.

Take charge of system configurations, conduct thorough audits to ensure process accuracy, and troubleshoot system issues, leveraging your technical expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Provide technical guidance to super users and support staff, offering insights into Payroll technologies and assisting with training and communication initiatives. Your role will also involve ensuring data integrity within Payroll systems through meticulous testing and analysis.

Lead cross-functional projects of varying complexity, demonstrating your adept project management skills and ability to drive progress amidst competing priorities.

Minimum Requirements for Senior Analyst

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

At least 6 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years directly involved in HCM solutions to support business/HR objectives. Experience in configuration administration and system setup is advantageous.

Familiarity with HCM solutions in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment is desirable.

Strong project management skills, effective communication abilities, and a consultative approach are essential for success in this role.

Minimum Requirements for Principal Analyst:

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in working directly with HCM solutions to support business/HR objectives, including extensive involvement in configuration administration and system setup.

Proficiency in HCM solutions within a SaaS environment is preferred.

Strong project management abilities, coupled with excellent communication and consultative skills, are paramount for this position.
