Sr Accountant need for a Construction materials manufacturer and distributer. This a new position created a to support the elite clients group. This is a trusting, respectful, and fun place to work! 

This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Accountant or a Staff Accountant poised to for the next step.

Responsibilities include:

· Prepare internal financial statements

· Prepare journal entries, supporting reconciliations

· Record all payroll journal entries

· Reconcile intercompany accounts and balance sheet accounts

· Reconcile monthly bank statements

· Create wires and bank transfers

· Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel

· Prepare and file Sales and use tax returns

· Maintain fixed asset Schedules

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Accounting or Finance function

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong excel skills. 

· Experience with QuickBooks a plus.

· Strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a high level of accuracy

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
