****Salary: $21.94 per hour / $44,209.10 annually****

We are looking for a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to join our Auto Damage team! As an ambassador for GEICO's renowned customer service, you will work on one of our Virtual Estimating teams. After completing training at our industry leading Auto Damage Training Center, you will be responsible for inspecting damage, estimating cost of repairs, negotiating settlements and issuing payments. This is a multiline position that is remote but will also require some travel into the field. The position does require being a current resident of Texas.

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a driver's license, certifications and permits in accordance with state and federal regulations, and company and departmental standards.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

* Must utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.

* Must be willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments, inclement weather, in dim or bright light and subject to adverse weather conditions and noise.

* The duties of this position are generally performed in a home office, with occasional work in an auto repair environment or at a business location, under minimum supervision.

EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLES (WHEN ASSIGNED) **:**

* Must have access to a safe, dependable vehicle and maintain liability insurance in accordance with local laws. Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record and a valid state driver's license.

* Must be able to utilize laptops, Microsoft Office, web-based applications, cameras, smart phones, hands free cellular devices, and calculators.

* Must be able to, on occasion, perform work duties using a vehicle as a mobile workstation.

* Must be able to travel to respond to staffing shortages or catastrophic claim events.
