Hispanic Technology Executive Council is Hiring a Global Commodities Trade Control Manager Near Houston, TX

Job Description

The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.

This role will lead the Commodities Trade Control Team and be responsible for all associated processes across the Commodities Trade Control Teams globally.The role will have direct management responsibility for associates in AMRS and will have matrix management responsibility for associates in EMEA and APR.The role will work with senior Commodities business leaders and Operations Leadership as well as many other functional groups such as Technology and Market Risk.You will be expected to improve efficiency in processes and identify areas where there may gaps in processes.In addition, as new products are onboarded, you will have the ability to influence the front to back processes for the new products.

Responsibilities

Manage Commodities Trade Control team in AMRS and matrix manage Commodities Trade Control teams in EMEA and APR.

Manage all Commodities Trade Control Processes globally.

Review processes for efficiency improvements.

Communicate with senior product desk heads across Commodities.

Understand front to back processes and review and recommend efficiency and control improvements.

Required Skills

Middle Office Operations or Finance experience. Preferred 5 years experience in Middle Office Operations or Finance Role.

Recent Management and Leadership Experience

Experience with Senior Leader Communications

Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities & Derivative Core Operations

Ability to communicate well across many stakeholders.

Comprehensive understanding of front to back Commodities processes.

Commodities Industry background in Energy, Metals and other products preferred.Strong understanding of front to back controls.
