Our Optimization Services team, part of Commerce practice, connects brands and consumers across all channels. Leveraging a full suite of omnichannel capabilities, we drive revenue and efficiency for brands through both retail and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. Backed by data, fueled by insights, and brought to life through world-class sales and operations, creative, digital, and patented technology, we build and execute strategies that acquire customers, create immersive experiences, and scale brands.

You Are:

Youre a go-getter with strong (consumer product) sales skills and youve got lots of proven examples of growing brands at retail. You are an expert on Walmart and understand how to deliver compelling products/services to their guests and can flex between strategy and execution.

You know how to build exceptional relationships and believe in being memorable. You are creative in your approach and never accept that something cant be done. You live and breathe retail and are extremely detail-orientated.

In this position, you will:

  • Lead sales-related activities on behalf of our brand partners at Walmart.
  • In partnership with the brand, develop and spearhead the Walmart omni-channel strategy and ensure maximum sales/profitability results.
  • Act as a liaison between our brand partner and Walmart ensuring first class communication.
  • Lead the supplier onboarding and vendor agreement process.
  • Plan and lead sales negotiations on behalf of our brand partners.
  • Coach our brand partners on thriving in a complex and ever-changing retail landscape.
  • Present Walmart with disruptive initiatives and program opportunities which may fall outside of the norm, bringing value to Walmart and brands alike.
  • Collaboratively partner with team members within The Stable to execute flawlessly for our brands.
  • Proactively leverage competitive market data to inform brand strategies and direction.
  • Constantly analyze brand performance and provide action-oriented insights and recommendations.
  • Other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in sales role working with Walmart
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Building great relationships is your thing.
  • Demonstrated results of selling in and growing new brands, new programs, new items to Walmart
  • You thrive in ambiguous and uncharted territory and can navigate complex situations.
  • You are brand obsessed and know how to sell stories.
  • Strong understanding of Walmart data systems.
  • You take pride in doing awesome work.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong business management and organizational skills
  • You are action and detail oriented.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and think creatively.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
