General InformationResponsible for overseeing the general operations of warehouse and its staff. Handle the recording and maintaining of inventory, train new workers and monitor performance and productivity.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure warehouse is a safe working environment and complies with Safety standards.

- Overseeing the integrity of the receiving, cycle counting, and shipping processes of goods and assuring quality of goods in storage.
- Orchestrating the flow of inventory in, out and within the warehouse including logistics scheduling optimization.
- Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory storage area and warehouse handling equipment
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
- Voice concerns with staffing levels and assign workload.
- Develop and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
- Identify areas of process improvement and establish innovative work procedures and practices.
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in shipping
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 03-05 years general warehousing and shipping experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Alert and aware of safety issues and safeguards
- Work well in a team environment
- Detailed oriented and perform basic research if required.
