Company: MMC Corporate Description: SUMMARY The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of brand, social media, events, digital transformation and PR/ media to drive business growth in Hong Kong and Macau. To achieve this, he/she will work closely with the Marsh McLennan Hong Kong Marketing Leader and country CEO and President to establish, maintain and measure the impact of strategic integrated marketing plans that drive demand generation and revenue growth as well as position the brands, i.e., Marsh and Mercer, prominently in Hong Kong and Macau. You should be comfortable executing campaigns through a variety of channels and take a fully integrated approach to marketing – ensuring media, internal channels and intermediaries are considered in the development of campaigns. You will have a good understanding of sales and how marketing can drive sales. In addition, you will be passionate about digital, content and SEO/ SEM. You will play a leading role in ensuring continuous improvement and setting the direction for the website/s as Marsh McLennan continues to roll out additional Adobe Experience Manager functionality globally. A critical component of your role will be learning from global colleagues and other markets about how websites can and should be used – then encourage the business to get maximum value from this asset. Critical to the role is an ability to effectively manage stakeholders in order to ensure marketing and brand strategies are supported by the business and deliver commercial outcomes. It requires budget management, contract management and project management. Equally important is the ability to work alongside subject matter experts and leaders to bring the best of Marsh and Mercer to the market. The Marketing Practice Leader/ Specialist should be, at different times, a writer, project manager, critical/ creative thinker, storyteller, and communication/ marketing expert. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, passionate, high energy, organized, detail-oriented, happy to roll up their sleeves if needed and able to distil complex messages. POSITION SCOPE We will count on you to: Brand and Marketing: Build the Marsh and Mercer brands through marketing, communication and PR/ Media in Hong Kong and Macau. Plan and execute marketing communications for all marketing campaigns in Hong Kong and Macau. Work closely with Marsh McLennan Asia marketing team to support execution of marketing and PR strategy for the local market, in conjunction with the regional teams. Work closely with Marsh McLennan Hong Kong Marketing Leader to execute an integrated PR/ media calendar of events that supports local business priorities, marketing campaigns as well as regional and global campaigns. Leverage and distribute global and regional PR campaigns, including press releases and other materials that have relevance to Hong Kong and Macau. Localise and tailor these materials to Hong Kong and Macau where appropriate. Actively support, drive and manage large events. Drive and execute new intellectual content development in the local market and work closely with local spokespeople. Work closely with regional marketing operations and shared services to ensure compliance with regional processes and support the brand. Source, adapt and create appropriate content to support the content strategy/ roadmap, focusing primarily on Marsh McLennan branded websites and social channels. Digital Transformation: Drive Marsh McLennan’s digital marketing efforts through the management of the website as well as external digital channels to drive demand generation. Drive demand generation most notably through the use of social media and SEO/SEM, Adwords. Others: Work with Marsh McLennan Hong Kong leadership team to ensure Marsh and Mercer’s activity/ content/ PR/ media is reaching appropriate internal stakeholders. Manage marketing budget. What you need to have: Good academic track record, preferably in subjects such as business, marketing or public relations. Solid corporate experience, especially coming from a B2B environment. Prior experience working in a financial/ insurance sector highly desirable. At least 10 years of experience in a Corporate Communications or Marketing Communications Manager role especially as it pertains to Hong Kong. Proven track record in developing and executing marketing and/ or internal communications or corporate communications strategies and plans to deliver sustainable results. Commercially astute and able to work with the business on deriving leads to drive business development. Ability to think laterally and creatively and superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the organisation. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact in a team environment with all levels of employees including senior management. Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to influence across the business and serve as a strategic thinker to senior management. Outstanding project management skill, in planning ahead the different milestones to achieve and execute in a timely manner with strong commitment on quality. Strong communications, writing and project management skills. Disciplined and can work autonomously to drive the right business outcomes in a timely manner. Detail-oriented and comfortable with a fast-paced environment. Solid experience working with LinkedIn, website management, Salesforce and Marketo.
