HL Mando America Corporation is Hiring an Electronic Quality Engineer Near Hogansville, GA

Job Purpose:

  • Manage Quality Improvement Activities thru root cause Analysis of Electronic parts (PPAK, PCB)
  • Establishing best practices and guidelines to best meet Quality requirements
  • Respond clearly to Customer quality issues by arranging the optimal member or thru specialized training

 Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

 Performing investigation of all electric production failures with Production Quality engineer

  • Analyzing of Powerpack production data and reports
  • Steering system software / Hardware requirements analysis for New project
  • Analyzing of Steering PPAK communication network Failure / Diagnostic (DTC code)
  • Review supplier investigation report and send updates to HOT as needed
  • Attending electric part meeting with HM/MRA
  • Generate weekly reports for upper management including analyzing Production reject trends, Scrap cost and investigation updates
  • Generate monthly reports with upper management including analyzing Scrap trends, Chronic issue investigation updates
  • Follow NCRs through closure with PPACK Production Engineers
  • Support all customer meetings, daily, weekly, monthly with PQ Engineers
  • Support meetings with suppliers to deep dive investigation, globally (Electronic supplier)
  • Lead internal electronic teams meeting (US, China, Mexico)
  • Monitor and managing performance tester (Dyno, X-Ray, Vector Tool)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field. 
  • Understand manufacturing quality management environment.
  • Analysis of product failure type
  • ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 requirements
  • Quality stabilization through dimension / defect improvement
  • Reduce quality costs through process improvements

  Technical Competencies:

Utilization of Quality Computerized system (Customer Portal, Mando)

  • Quality Core Tools – PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP, MSA.
  • Utilization of many tools and equipment needed for specialize testing.
  • Use Vector CAN tools – CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer for measurement, data logging and running simulations
  • Use Performance Test Stands to evaluate various performance features of steering gears
  • Use High Frequency Digital Oscilloscopes, Mulitimeters for testing and debugging
  • Ability to design and develop construct test circuits and interface with system

 Non-Technical Competencies:

 Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively for problem solution.

  • Must be a self-directed, results driven individual with the ability to effectively drive issues/problems to closure.
