Job Purpose:
To direct and oversee all Purchasing activities of the corporation including supplier development and all commodity (brake, steering, electric) groups.
Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Promote the competitiveness of Material cost
- Purchasing organization’s stabilization
- Discovering competitive North American suppliers
- VA/VE, localization implementation
- Sourcing & Price decision for every components
-. Brake/Steering/Suspension/Electric parts
-. Review proper decision of price & supplier at each part
-. Investigate new competitive supplier
Supplier development for new parts
-. Developing parts for new program
-. Quality assurance activities : PPAP & others
- Role as communication between Plant & MESA(Mando Engineering and Sales USA)
-. To increase opportunity of new business of Mando in USA
-. To respond USA automaker’s attention to Mando
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field is required
Certified Purchasing Manager preferred
Technical Competencies:
Strong cost analysis skills required
Strong negotiation experience and skills required
Non-Technical Competencies:
Must have a good leadership as well as a good interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
