Job Summary:

HMD is looking to hire full time, skilled and experienced Semi Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing Semi Trucks and Trailers, as well as maintaining and servicing our fleet.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including Oil Changes, Grease Service, DOT Inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance on Semi - Trailers, including, DOT inspections, replacement of brakes, shocks, slack adjusters and all other trailer axle components.
• Conduct thorough inspections of our trucks and trailers to identify potential issues.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and/or Trailer Mechanic.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks and trailers.
• Strong knowledge of Semi Trucks and Semi-Trailers.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification from a recognized technical school or vocational program is a plus.

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour

Shift Schedule:

• 1st and 2nd shifts available
• Monday – Friday
• Rotating Saturday availability required

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
