CE is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist and we would love to hear from you! While reporting remotely to the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner and indirectly to the assigned business unit President, the HR Generalist position is a highly influential and critical role that links the CE business and corporate HR operations ensuring an exceptional employee experience in alignment with corporate objectives. The HR Generalist performs human resources-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, employment law, compliance, and talent acquisition. This position is viewed as a strategic partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff.

What you will do in the position:

  • Leader Accountabilities
    • Following our people centric leadership principles and the CE Aspirations, collaborates in developing our employees to pursue excellence and flourish
    • Exhibits and promotes our core values in all activities (Commitment to quality and continuous improvement, integrity, passion for excellence, innovation mindset, drive to win and customer care)
    • Exhibits and promotes the CE Aspirations (Continuously Improve, Grow People, Respect, Communicate, Passion, Customer)
    • Manages according to HME and CE Corporate Culture, standard operating procedures, performance objectives and applicable state and federal laws
  • Employee Relations
    • Assists with employee relations issues including performance improvement plans, corrective actions, and employee exits, and makes recommendations to HR Management.
    • Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary actions.
    • Manages exit meetings and conducts exit interviews for all employee resignations.
  • HR Support and Projects
    • Supports HR Projects/initiatives and company events as needed.
    • Assists senior management in the development of solutions through cultural and process perspective organizational development.
    • Ensures all HR policies are managed and followed compliantly in alignment with assigned regulations.
    • Supports the talent & development strategy for the business.
    • Provides guidance and input on workforce planning, succession planning and top talent development.
    • As needed assists the Training department on preparing and executing on various employee trainings.
    • Assists with the full employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding.
    • Partners with Training, Recruiting, Payroll and Benefits groups to ensure CE is supported properly.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

  • BA or BS (college graduate) - Preferred.
  • 5 years of general Human Resources experience.
  • General knowledge of employment law, EEO/AA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate and present information appropriate to the audience.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and UKG experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to ask open-ended questions, listen intently, and facilitate effective conversations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.A high level of attention to detail and confidentiality is essential.
  • Must be able to present a professional image, utilize sound judgment and discretion.
  • Requires the ability to set up and maintain comprehensive and detailed records.

Pay Range: $73,100.00 - $97,400.00 per annum. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors.
