Answers to: CEO & CFO
General Responsibility "Champion of HMV Finances":
- Ensure the proper, timely and accurate performance of Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Annual accounting and reporting functions and procedures.
- Ensure the proper, timely and accurate compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and manage HMV finances and financial portfolio.
- Actively participate on the HMV Strategic Planning Committee.
- Support the development of HMV's annual Business Plan and the budget process.
- In accordance with the Inform System of Accounting for the hotel industry.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and ensure development and adherence to HMV's accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Participate in and provide support in corporate leadership team meetings.
This department shall be accountable for all accounting processes including:
1. Payroll
2. Accounts Payable (AP)
3. Accounts Receivable (AR)
4. Banking
5. Bank Reconciliations
6. Financial Reporting
7. HMV PROPERTIES Chart of Accounts
Expectations:
- Should have a high command of Micro-Soft Applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
- Knowledge of back office or accounting systems including SAP, SUN, Sage, M3, Inflow, etc.
- Knowledge Hotel Software or Property Management systems, ONQ, FOSSE, OPERA, Sky touch
- Choice Advantage, SynXis, etc.
- Excellent communication and negotiation expertise.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
