Job DescriptionDuties/Responsibilities:
Defines the strategic vision for the company’s operations and collaborates with leadership to implement this strategy.
Actively seeks new business opportunities and clients to expand market presence.
Engages with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to understand and evaluate program needs, applying insights to enhance product development strategies.
Manages the bidding process from initial development to final production, proactively addressing and resolving any emerging issues or risks.
Monitors and analyzes costs associated with programs and processes.
Facilitates and oversees cross-functional projects and teams.
Ensures adherence to industry regulations, legal standards, and best practices, maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Guarantees that company procedures align with customer expectations.
Stays updated on emerging trends and technologies within the industry.
Performs additional tasks as necessary.
Identifies governmental and utility requirements necessary for construction activities.
Develops and manages timelines, budgets, and project activities.
Oversees, organizes, and reports on interconnected company projects.
Creates project plans to ensure timely delivery of work scope and financial objectives.
Evaluates program performance with the goal of maximizing return on investment (ROI).
Recognized as a subject matter expert, capable of researching, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for various projects.
Advises on technical and complex challenges across multiple projects, offering consultative support to project teams.
Coordinates overall project schedules.
Aids in establishing performance metrics for work production.
Participates in project sales calls, kickoff meetings, vendor selection, and other business development initiatives.
Engages in customer and internal meetings.
Provides recommendations for quality enhancements and operational efficiencies.
Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures while contributing to company strategies and plans.
Evaluates project scopes of work.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a track record of enhancing business processes to lower costs and boost efficiency.
Ability to identify and implement best practices and continuous performance assessments.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proven supervisory and leadership qualities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Skilled in financial tools necessary for estimates, business forecasts, and strategic decision-making.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of ten years’ experience in utility or fiber construction trades and project/program management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Annual Salary range: $120K to $150K bonuses
  • Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage, Supplemental Insurance through Aflac, & 401K plan
