Hoag Health System is Hiring an EMPLOYEE AMBASSADOR MARKETING MANAGER Near Costa Mesa, CA

Salary Range: $43.27 - $66.53 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
The Employee Ambassador Marketing Manager has a specialized focus on employee engagement and brand advocacy. This role is pivotal in highlighting our employees, fostering a strong internal culture, and equipping staff with key information and communication tools to become ambassadors for our brand. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of internal communications expertise, marketing skills, and a passion for employee activation. This position requires strategic thinking, creativity, and the ability to execute initiatives that elevate our brand through our most valuable asset: our people.
Essential Functions:
  • Develop and manage initiatives to showcase employee achievements, stories, and contributions both internally and on external platforms. This could include spotlight articles, social media features, and video testimonials.
  • Craft and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy that ensures all employees are informed, engaged, and motivated. This includes managing internal communication channels such as newsletters, intranet, and company-wide meetings.
  • Design and deliver training programs for employees on brand values, messaging, and how to effectively advocate for the brand in their professional and personal networks.
  • Create compelling content that can be used by employees to promote the brand, including social media posts, blog articles, and marketing collateral.
  • Develop mechanisms to gather employee feedback on internal marketing efforts and measure the impact of employee advocacy on brand perception and reach. Use insights to refine strategies.
  • Partner with the HR department to align employee engagement initiatives with overall HR strategies and objectives, such as onboarding, training, and employee satisfaction programs.
  • Serve as the liaison between marketing and other departments to ensure brand messaging consistency and to leverage expertise across the company for content creation and advocacy efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required:Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, with a significant focus on internal communications, employee engagement, brand advocacy.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful internal marketing and communication strategies.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, the ability to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation. Experience training/coaching on brand advocacy.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and with senior management.
Preferred:
  • Experience in the Healthcare Industry is a plus. A creative thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Required:Skills or Other Qualifications
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment and stay up to date on marketing trends as it applies to healthcare.
  • Excellent customer services skills and attitude. Organizational/time management skills.
  • Independent self-starter, is able to set assignment priorities, work independently within established guidelines, and maintain confidentiality.
