Job DescriptionThis position will support our domestic distributors, ITW sales personnel and end users by providing solutions to inquiries involving Hobart Brothers product offerings or services. Must have and maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Essential Functions:
- Internally, collaborate with our market facing teams, warehouses, and business units to meet customer needs.
- Work effectively with the business units to promote our products to distributors and customers.
- Provide timely and constructive customer feedback received to the appropriate people.
- Work well within the Customer Support team to identify improvement projects.
- Handling calls, faxes and emails, quotes, product recommendations.
- Customer order entry and maintenance in MS D365 as well as backorder review.
- Processing customer returns.
- EDI order monitoring and maintenance.
- Account management for assigned accounts.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of directly related job experience in customer service specialization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment where much of the role required taking in-bound phone calls.
- D365 system knowledge & order entry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
- Welding product and process knowledge is a plus but will train.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude. Self-motivated, with a desire to help the customer find the welding solution that is right for them.
- Ability to make sound customer-oriented decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to continue to grow professionally through experiences exposure, and focused training.
- Requires strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be a team player who possess an excellent attitude.
