Job DescriptionThis position will support our domestic distributors, ITW sales personnel and end users by providing solutions to inquiries involving Hobart Brothers product offerings or services. Must have and maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Essential Functions:
  • Internally, collaborate with our market facing teams, warehouses, and business units to meet customer needs.
  • Work effectively with the business units to promote our products to distributors and customers.
  • Provide timely and constructive customer feedback received to the appropriate people.
  • Work well within the Customer Support team to identify improvement projects.
  • Handling calls, faxes and emails, quotes, product recommendations.
  • Customer order entry and maintenance in MS D365 as well as backorder review.
  • Processing customer returns.
  • EDI order monitoring and maintenance.
  • Account management for assigned accounts.
Qualifications
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years of directly related job experience in customer service specialization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment where much of the role required taking in-bound phone calls.
  • D365 system knowledge & order entry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Welding product and process knowledge is a plus but will train.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude. Self-motivated, with a desire to help the customer find the welding solution that is right for them.
  • Ability to make sound customer-oriented decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to continue to grow professionally through experiences exposure, and focused training.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a team player who possess an excellent attitude.
