This Administrative Program Assistant position is a shared position serving both the Office of Spiritual Engagement (OSE) and the College’s Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning (CCESL). This role serves as the first point of contact for the offices and as administrative support; acts as liaison with facilities/housekeeping, information technology, conferences and events, faculty, students, and community partners.

This is a 12-month full-time, benefits-eligible, hourly position shared by two departments. Normal campus office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Events and programming require flexibility of hours, evening and weekend hours may be required at times. The salary range for this position is $21 - $23 per hour.
Candidate must have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and significant administrative, public service and leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have superb oral and written communication skills and be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who represents the highest values of the Colleges and these offices, especially inclusion, professionalism, tact, and gracious hospitality. Candidates should enjoy working as a member of an interfaith team. Individuals who have a strong record of demonstrating initiative, planning and organization skills, and commitment to community will be given priority in the selection process. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with database software, or a demonstrated desire to learn the same, is strongly desired. The Administrative Program Assistant must be able to work with and maintain extremely confidential and sensitive information.
