Job Summary
Seeking a full-charge bookkeeper small to mid business clients. Part-Time, up to 25-30hrs per week.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Create and maintain financial reports
- Manage sales taxes
- Quarterly Estimated taxes and withholding
- manage payroll, handle deposits
- QuickBooks proficiency a must
- Clarify transactions with clients
- Support business clients with specific requests as needed
Required Qualifications and Skills
- - QuickBooks - 2 years of experience
- - College - Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
- - Excellent organizational skills, Detail oriented
- - Must be able to work independently
- - Reliable and dependable
- - Professional demeanor with clients (written, phone and in-person)
- - Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn new software quickly
ADDITIONAL QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- - Tax Return Preparation Experience a plus
- - Knowledge of ProSeries, UltraTax, or Drake Software a major plus
- - Proactive Team Player - Someone who enjoys key role of being part of a support team.
- - Positive rapport with business clients; able to direct, advise, provide information.
