Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Electrical Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day functions of our Electrical and Appliance Departments in St. Louis, encompassing 30 direct and indirect reports.

Successful outcomes will be attained by working with Senior Leadership and Field Managers to align and deliver results through setting goals and KPI’s, aligning our Hoffmann Brothers Purpose and Values to deliver exceptional customer service and outcomes for our team members, our customers, and the communities in which we live & serve.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving an annual budget of $15M in revenue.
• Lead and develop a dynamic team of 30 team members in a high growth and rapidly changing environment.
• Supervise and ensure accountability to the Hoffmann Brothers’ six-step service system process by all team members.
• Empower Field Managers to demonstrate decision making using sales data, technician feedback, and KPI’s.
• Define and cascade annual revenue targets, commission structures, and lead the overall planning process.
• Assist Field Managers and help them to achieve their goals.
• Establish, foster, and drive strong relationships with other Hoffmann Brothers’ departments to provide open lines of communication for feedback, job scheduling and lead generation.
• Inspire and motivate a team of experienced service professionals to achieve results through training and development.
• Resolve customer concerns that require management involvement.
• Participate in vendor discussions & negotiations.
• Recruitment and retention through building a strong culture of teamwork within all departments.

Qualifications:

• Previous management and leadership experience required.
• Possess the ability to inspire both personal and professional growth in our team members.
• Strategic thinking capabilities to evaluate, assess, and make recommendations for change.
• Analytical and very comfortable navigating data to derive insights and define strategies.
• Ability to provide unparalleled customer satisfaction.

• Be detail oriented and a highly organized multi-tasker with good presentation skills and the ability to convey confident and decisive messages in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.

• Ability to direct and lead effective and efficient performance of a team. Ability to influence and galvanize teams outside of direct reporting line.
• Effective communication, negotiation skills and customer focus.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities.

• Previous background or experience in appliance repair or electrical background a plus.
