Au Cheval Diner is seeking dedicated and experienced Full Time Hosts ($22 / hour) to join our team!

Experience and Qualifications :

1 years' experience working in high volume restaurant environment.

Experience with reservation software (Resy preferred)

Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude with a team player mindset

Ability to work under pressure with grace and ease.

Must have open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Manage the guest reservation system.

Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure that service meets / exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience.

Accommodate special requests whenever possible, as long as doing so would not hinder the experience of other guests.

Use and ensure other employees use guest’s names whenever possible.

Record in the Resy database any information provided by guests to ensure a positive return visit.

Receive and welcome guests in a respectful manner; assist with seating.

Review all reservation notes & special occasions daily.

Create server floorplans before service.

Review all reservation notes & special occasions daily.

Train new hosts via Hogsalt Training App, audit training materials as needed.

Ensure menus and supplies are stocked.

Check tables throughout service times for guest satisfaction, take immediate action to correct any guest issues.

Maintain dress code and hygiene standards.
