DescriptionABOUT THE ROLEThe role of this position provides daily, weekly, monthly and yearly production planning, ordering and inventory control of raw materials and fuels, and analysis and verification of plant production, inventories, and consumption of purchased materials to keep in-line with the budget.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Communicate, improve, and adhere to safety policies in all work environments.
  • Act as a safety leader by demonstrating a personal commitment to working safely.
  • Advocate and promote a safe working environment for all plant employees.
  • Oversee a small team to maintain housekeeping and safety in one plant area.
  • Integrate into the plant management team with a focus on performance and improvement.
  • Maintain master data in SAP, including daily production reporting and inventory surveying.
  • Handle production planning, including a 24-month logistics plan and process order management.
  • Ensure accurate production vs. consumption ratios for all functional areas.
  • Timely completion of all process order TECOs.
  • Accurately report downtime notifications and execute process orders.
  • Lead the completion of the Annual Technical Report.
  • Assist with production budget development and become a BW power user for SAP-related tasks
What We Are Looking ForEducation: High school diploma or equivalent or 3 years of equivalent experience.
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Process, or Chemical Engineering
Required Work Experience: Understanding of the cement and/or similarly related industry regarding metrics and technical reports
Required Computer and Software Skills: SAP experience and MS Excel experience required
Travel Requirements: Some travel required

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicablel aw, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator sealmeets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
