Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect linens for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain inventory of clean linens and supplies
- Ensure that all laundry areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling laundry chemicals and equipment
Skills:
- Experience in housekeeping management or industrial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and presentation
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify stains or damage on linens
- Familiarity with custodial practices for maintaining cleanliness in a hotel or similar setting
- Basic knowledge of floor care techniques such as vacuuming and mopping
