The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Phoenix East is looking for the following position:

Level 1 Maintenance Technician - Full time and Part-Time

Candidates must have a drive to create a safe and clean space for guests. If you are detail-oriented and take pride in your skills, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Performing basic maintenance around the building such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repair.
• Repairing broken or leaking basic plumbing to avoid water damage.
• Painting when old paint has become faded or chipped.
• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems.
• Greet guests and respond to guest requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and moving around the hotel.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull, up to 50 pounds.
• Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods.
• Availability to include weekends.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Must be reliable and be eager to learn.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
