The Complimentary Breakfast Attendant is responsible for interacting with guests and co-workers in an efficient, courteous, personable and professional manner to ensure a positive breakfast experience. They adhere to the highest levels of cleanliness and food safety while preparing, setting-up, maintaining the complimentary breakfast area of the hotel. While previous complimentary breakfast experience is a plus, we care more about hiring a Breakfast Attendant with a sincere desire to serve, a great attitude, and a commitment to hospitality. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to perform job function with attention to detail speed and accuracy
• Work 2-3 days a week 5:30am-1pm.
• Must be able to obtain and provide Food Handlers card as required by Texas
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm professional manner.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and a desire to be of service to others as reflected in willingness to learn new tasks and information provide back-up and support to other team members and respond to guests and co-workers in a positive and optimistic manner.
• Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation service standards guest relations and etiquette.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
• Greet guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure quality control of menus with regard to cleanliness, appearance, and keeping food waste to a minimum.
• Clear, clean and reset tables/hotel spaces per client request or management instruction.
• Making sure our guests have fresh, hot coffee at all times.
• Keeping all food and beverages stocked, prior to and during guests arrival.
• Ensure all service areas are stocked, organized, clean and neat and all side work is completed on each shift.
• Accommodate any special requests made by a guest and offer appropriate alternatives when necessary.
• Support all areas of the beverage and food service as necessary including washing dishes by hand, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down tables, walls, refrigerators, and moving trash to designated areas.
• Have a complete knowledge of standards of service for receiving a room service order.
• Have a thorough knowledge of menus in all applicable departments.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation assignment
• Answer questions about the hotel the hotel-brand standards guest expectations the unique characteristics of the hotel local area attractions and things to do
• Perform any other duties or attend meetings as requested by management

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
