The Front Desk Manager is responsible for leading a team that provides exceptional service to our guests while meeting and maintaining all hotel brand standards. Responsible for creating/maintaining schedules for all areas of Front Desk operations. Oversees the recruiting, on boarding, training of all front desk employees; including the coaching, counseling and disciplining all the shift employees as needed. Responsible for maintaining a fun and engaging operation where individual personalities can excel and our guests can be welcomed with ridiculously unique personal experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise all duties performed by all Front Desk employees.
  • Ensure all guest service standards and all hotel and departmental policies and procedures are followed and consistently applied
  • Resolve all guest complaints and issues with exceptional service
  • Work side by side with front desk agents
  • Ensure all daily checklists are completed and updated
  • Create an environment that encourages empowerment.
  • Communicate effectively will all operating departments including Sales, Accounting, Housekeeping, Reservations etc.
  • Coach, counsel & discipline employees when necessary, using proper documentation and proper techniques.
  • Ensure that all Front Desk employees complete their essential duties before their departure.
  • Ensure that all Front Desk employees are posted at their stations at posted time. Assist with all sick calls or tardiness by finding proper coverage, report to work and stay until proper coverage can be found.
  • Accountable for the proper training and daily monitoring of all service levels provided by employees to guests and other fellow employees.
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding levels of service required
  • Delegate tasks, mentor, coach and develop staff
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring that all employees follow proper standard operating procedures
  • Keep the department well organized, stocked, clean and functional
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximizes profitability related to the guest service department.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
