Holiday Inn Lakewood is Hiring an Executive Housekeeper Near Lakewood, CO

Executive Housekeeper

Join the team at the Holiday Inn Denver Lakewood, the only full-service hotel in the southwest Denver area. Located just minutes from downtown Denver and near key attractions like Coors Field, Mile High Stadium, and Red Rocks Amphitheater, our hotel offers 190 spacious guest rooms designed with Colorado-inspired motifs and modern amenities.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and memorable stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including laundry.
  • Manage, train, and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure all areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel policies.
  • Handle administrative duties such as ordering supplies, managing inventory, and preparing reports.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained according to brand standards.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and requests promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of the hotel.
  • Monitor and manage the laundry operation to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on safety, cleaning techniques, and customer service.
  • Implement and oversee programs to maintain and improve environmental sustainability within the housekeeping department.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of housekeeping management experience in a full-service hotel.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a large team with diverse responsibilities.
  • Strong background in quality control and guest service.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in using housekeeping management systems like OPERA.
