Barista Server
Looking for somebody to work in the early morning hours as a Barista and breakfast/room service server . Be ready to help our guests wake up with serving coffee and grab & go breakfast items until full breakfast hours start. Must be independent and good at multi tasking.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
Physical Requirements:
•Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
•Light work "" Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 15 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
•Ability to stand during entire shift.
•Must be able to maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food and beverages.

•Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
•Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
•Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, including ability to handle guest objections and disputes to satisfactory results.

DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
Essential:
•Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
•Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Everwood Hospitality standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
•Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working.
•Always comply with Everwood Hospitality Service standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
•Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
•Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
•Be familiar with the organization of the Restaurant(s), lounges, and Room Service and know the function of each job position.
•Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in applicable outlets.
•Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
•Perform opening and closing procedures and side-work duties according to station rotation assignment and established checklist.
•Ensure that all tables and side stands are kept stocked, tidy, and clean.
•Keep all beverages at least ¾ full (coffee, tea, soda, water, and lemonade).
•Breakdown trays of soiled dishes and linen in the dish-room according to established standards.
•Answer the telephone according to standards.
•Be familiar with fire extinguishers, locations and know how to use them.
•Set-up and break down buffet.
•Replenish buffet items as needed.
•Deliver food to Restaurant Floor or Banquet Rooms.

•Attend meetings/training as required by management.
•Perform other duties as requested by management.
