Position Summary:

Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for driving organizational success? Join our dynamic team at Numed Pharma as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our company.

In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for analyzing accounting data and producing comprehensive financial reports and statements that inform our strategic decisions. Your keen eye for detail will ensure timely and accurate reconciliations, while your proactive approach will effectively monitor our payables, receivables, and cash flows.

Essential Duties:

• Generates timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Maintains chart of accounts and records general ledger entries according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Supervises accounts payable and receivable staff and ensures accurate coding of payables, timely collections, and satisfactory completion of duties.
• Reconciles bank statements and accounts and credit cards/expense statements.
• Coordinates tax and legal filings with external accountant.
• Establishes coding for expense items by vendor and purchase type.
• Prepares and monitors annual budget and reports actual expenditures to budget.
• Reviews and approves new vendors and contractors, including receipt of tax documentation.
• Reviews payroll reports and ensures appropriate recording of labor expenses to the General Ledger.
• Enforces proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

Key Competencies:

Knowledge: Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), business and payroll tax laws, financial statements, revenue and expense forecasting, budgeting, collections methods, vendor management

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, supervisory experience, expertise in interpersonal relations and conflict resolution, proficient with Microsoft Office and expert in Excel, mastery in SQL-based accounting system

Abilities: Work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve complex business problems, high detail orientation, ability to manipulate large amounts of data, drive for results
