SECURITY OFFICER
Responsible for safe guarding the assets of the Queen Baton Rouge. Responsible for performing all job duties according to the Queen procedures and Internal Controls. Responsible for safety of the Queen's guests and team members. Responsible for the safety of the facility. Responsible for reporting incidents, accidents and illnesses that occur during the assigned shift.

Must possess superior customer relations and decision-making skills.
Responsible for security and emergency medical situations at assigned duty post.
Maintains CPR Card.
Maintain, control and inventory all security equipment/supplies. Reports any broken, expired or contaminated supplies or equipment.
Briefs on-coming Security Officers and Bike Officers.
Knows and complies with all applicable procedures, rules, regulations and laws.
Escorts Gaming chips, tokens and cash. Participates in hard count and soft count drops.
Knows how to properly operate all security equipment.
Participates in all mandatory training classes and meeting.
Ensures only guests over 21 consume alcohol, enter the casino floor or gamble on the Queen property.
Ensure only authorized personnel are in non-public areas.
Ensure customer service standards are met and retained.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
Performs other duties as directed.
Periodically required to testify in legal proceedings.
Maintain and secure confidential information.
Must complete required daily security/incident reports accurately and timely.
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent work experience.
Previous Security experience and/or training preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain a CPR/AED certification
Must be able to obtain and maintain a state Gaming license
