Senior Health Law Attorney - Minnesota Licensed

$120,000 base salary - 36 hours (flexible remote work schedule)

Requirements:

License to practice law in Minnesota

Bonus Attributes:

5 years of legal practice is a plus

Transactional business legal experience in business law and healthcare a plus

Benefits:

• $6,000 base annual flexible PTO benefits package (18 PTO days if taken all as PTO)(Additional $1000 each year worked, up to a maximum of $10,000 per year. No accumulative spend of more than $1000 per month depending on allotment without Company approval. No rollover. No payout at the end of employment. Remainder taken as unused PTO distribution at end of calendar year).
• 6 additional days Minnesota Earned Sick and Safe Leave (We take pro-employee view and do not need sick/safe verification - assume PTO)
• 3% IRA Company matching contribution (*$3600 per year extra benefit for a 125,000 salary with maximum contribution
• 50% employer-sponsored health insurance premium for employee and all legal dependents ($3000 per year extra benefit with assumption of $500 premium per month for 1 adult. $250x12 months paid by Holt Law)
• $150 per month Gym Membership reimbursement ($1800 per year per year extra benefit - up to actual amount of gym membership and ONLY if actually used)

Responsibilities:

1. Mentor and manage associate attorneys and paralegals in Minnesota
2. Work with higher-value clients such as medical doctors and nurse practitioners
3. Work business transactions such as buy-sell, contract drafting, healthcare legal advice and change of ownership transactions
4. Troubleshoot cases where legal rules are unclear or problematic
5. Confirm compliance with MN Rules of Professional Conduct
6. Adhere to core values and provide entrepreneurial feedback to help improve our legal workflows as we grow!
