Holwell Shuster & Goldberg is a litigation boutique specializing in the trial of complex commercial cases, with a particular focus on sophisticated financial, securities, antitrust, and bankruptcy-related disputes. Our firm’s success is largely determined by our commitment to hiring and developing the very best and brightest, creating a team that provides our clients with the highest quality of service.

The technology department of Holwell Shuster & Goldberg has an opening for a technical support specialist. The specialist will provide front-line technical support services for all firm personnel in a friendly and professional manner. This position is considered in-office and the specialist will be expected to come into the office 5 days per week.

Base Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (DOE)

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing end-user support services, troubleshooting assistance, and problem resolution via telephone, remote desktop connection, and visits to user locations
  • Identify and resolve basic network connectivity issues
  • Support end users’ utilization of Microsoft Office and other standard software applications
  • Support and maintain office printers
  • Assist with the technical setup for user’s desks and other workspaces
  • Provide support and regular testing for firm conference and audio-visual equipment
  • Work on special projects as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and provide high quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to carry mildly heavy equipment across spaces in the office. Approx. 50 lbs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and an aptitude for technical concepts.

Experience

  • Knowledge or experience with Windows 11, Office 365 and Office desktop products
  • Any experience with SharePoint support would be a plus
  • Knowledge or experience with iOS and Android devices
