ShiftDescription:This requisition is for the Graduate Nurse (Early Exit BSN) Nursing Students interested in Critical and Acute Care at our Holy Cross Silver Spring Hospital. We are seeking exceptional talent who is ready to blossom their careers with an exceptional health care system! We have opportunities in: ICU, SICU, 3S/IMC, 6E/Neuro, 4S/Cardiac, 5E/W Med Surg, 6S/Oncology . Please indicate your top two areas of interest in your resume. Candidates that are selected will be scheduled for a virtual interview with the Director or Nurse Manager.
What makes our internship and residency program different from others?Our graduate nurse program is comprised of four complementary components:
During your interview process, you may choose a day of one or more "shadow" experiences in departments you believe you have an interest in practicing. In each experience, you will be paired with an experienced nurse – you'll sample both patient care and team dynamics.

- Internships: 9 - 13-week competency-based orientation program
- Mentorship: 3 month peer support program
- Nurse Residency Program: 12-month professional development coursework
