Job Summary:
Holy Family Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Archery Coach to join our athletic department. The Archery Coach will be responsible for leading and developing our archery program, providing instruction to students of all skill levels, and fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for archery, strong coaching abilities, and a commitment to promoting sportsmanship and character development among student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive archery program for students in elementary, middle and high school.
• Plan and conduct regular practice sessions focusing on skill development, technique refinement, and physical conditioning.
• Provide individualized coaching and feedback to students to help them improve their archery skills and reach their full potential.
• Organize and supervise team competitions, including local tournaments and potentially state or national events.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others.
• Ensure the safety of all students during practice sessions and competitions by enforcing proper equipment use and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with school administrators, parents, and community members to promote the archery program and recruit new student-athletes.
• Maintain equipment inventory, oversee equipment maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Stay informed about developments in the sport of archery and incorporate new training techniques or equipment as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the athletic director or school administration.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience coaching or competing in archery at the high school or collegiate level preferred.
• Knowledge of archery techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively work with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring young athletes.
• Ability to create and implement effective training plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Current certification in archery coaching or willingness to obtain certification within the first year of employment.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all requirements for employment at Holy Family Catholic School.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required by the archery schedule.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.

Pay: $500.00 per hour
