If so, Holyrood PR has an opening for an Account Executive to join on a full-time, permanent basis.

We deliver dazzling, award-winning results to an array of B2B B2C and public sector clients, including household names, across media relations, stakeholder engagement, crisis communications, digital strategy and social media. 

Following strong results and a period of further growth we are on the hunt for the perfect applicant – and will be receptive to hearing from those starting their PR career and those with experience, whether that is through placements or entry level positions.

Principal accountabilities: 

- Delivering and exceeding clients' measurable objectives

- Producing quality written material, from press releases to social content 

- Advancing a PESO model of client work

- Measurement, evaluation and celebration of client work

- Ensuring thorough and efficient time and project management, making use of software

- Establishing strong relationships with a range of clients

- Becoming a positive and active team-member, contributing ideas and energy every day 

- Championing a passion and knowledge of the media as well as relationship building with key journalists 

- Harnessing AI responsibly to support and augment your work

You will have:  

- A passion for PR and a thorough understanding of the role that agencies play

- A deep-rooted and demonstrable passion for storytelling and the media (digital, broadcast and traditional)

- Serious drive and energy backed up by a strong work-ethic

- A curious and interested mind, with a knack for story-spotting and an interest in current affairs 

- Charisma and the confidence to know when and how to advise clients, combined with the awareness of knowing when to seek support

- An ability to build strong and lasting relationships

- Flexibility to adapt to often unpredictable and challenging client requirements

- A healthy interest and curiosity in technology, AI and social media

- A desire to not stand still, both in terms of your own career and the agency

While some experience in the sector is highly preferable, a lack of it will not necessarily prevent us awarding an entry-level role to an outstanding candidate.
