Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of care and support.
Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or seniors in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private residences
- Lift and transfer clients safely when needed
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or seniors is preferred
- Knowledge of direct support techniques and practices
- Ability to lift and move clients with care and attention to their comfort and safety
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards individuals in need of care
- Certification in senior care, assisted living, nursing home care, or home care is a plus
