Job Summary:
As a PALM HARBOR AIDE/CNA at Home Health Works, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to patients in the Clearwater, Florida area. This is a full-time, individual contributor role where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assist with daily activities, provide personal care, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a salaried position with a competitive hourly rate of $17 to $19 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Administer medication reminders
- Help patients with daily tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide updates and address any concerns
- Follow care plans and document patient progress and changes
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure patients' physical and emotional needs are met
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Florida
- Previous experience in a home health or long-term care setting is preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
