Job Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide personalized care for an elderly woman in the comfort of her home in New Jersey.

This is a live-in position, and the CHHA will be required to work for 3 days per week.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
• Medication reminders
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including maintaining a clean and organized living space for the client.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's health condition to the family or healthcare professionals.
• Foster a safe and comfortable environment for the elderly woman.

Qualifications :

• Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
• Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role, especially with elderly individuals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build a trusting and supportive relationship with the client.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for the elderly.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies and respond calmly under pressure.

Requirements :

• Proof of current CHHA certification in the state of New Jersey.
• Clear criminal background check
• Reliable transportation for commuting to and from the client's residence.
• Excellent references from previous employers or clients.
