We are seeking a compassionate, caring, energetic sales professional for the role of Director of Business Development to become a part of our Chicago team!
The elderly population is expanding rapidly, and our services are needed by seniors who are looking to age-in-place.
As our Director of Business Development, you will be the face of Home Instead in downtown Chicago and the surrounding metro communities, building and maintaining relationships with referral partners, engaging with referral sources, and generating referrals that convert to clients who receive in-home care from our company.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources in community, including hospitals, retirement communities, assisted living communities, physicians, care managers, guardians, elder law attorneys, hospice, home health providers, and numerous others. Your networking skills will be crucial in building and sustaining these essential relationships.
- Share information and materials about our services and actively participate in promotional activities to enhance our brand presence and attract new clients.
- Participate in the development of new business initiatives and prepare presentations to referral partners and the wider community. Your creativity and strategic thinking will be vital in expanding our market reach and helping us stay informed about the eldercare community .
- Implement innovative marketing techniques, including events, sponsorships, social media, Your insight and adaptability will keep us ahead in the market.
- Conduct new client intake and consultations as needed to support clients and referral providers. Act as the primary liaison between referral sources and the company, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Your role will be essential in establishing services for clients and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record in business development and revenue generation
- Experience in senior services, care management, or healthcare sectors is not mandatory but is a plus
- Proven success in building brand awareness and driving market penetration through innovative marketing techniques
- Expertise in establishing, expanding, and nurturing strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and clients that result in driving significant revenue growth.
- Adept at leveraging relationships to drive ongoing business growth and client loyalty.
- Able to manage sales data and utilizing key metrics to shape effective sales strategies and informed decisions.
- Highly organized, able to manage a number of referral providers while consistently meeting deadlines and being able to provide accurate and comprehensive records of all sales activities utilizing CRM tools

- Reach revenue goals
- Generate referral provider leads that result in a new client being served
- Expand the actively referring provider list
- Deliver weekly data on what is driving sales results and use this analysis to plan your ongoing targets and sales strategy
- Raise brand awareness among local referral providers in your portfolio to have a deep understanding of all Home Instead products and services
- Utilize Salesforce to create your weekly activity plan, with all sales activities documented and up-to-date on a weekly basis

Pay: $90,000 salary with acheivable incentives for significant income growth
